online form and submits to Häagen-Dazs (by clicking on the submit button
an email is sent to a representative
at Häagen-Dazs.) Based on a review of the Request
for Consideration, Häagen-Dazs determines whether to send the Applicant a Uniform
Franchise Offering Circular and Application.
2. Application Process -
Applicant completes a Häagen-Dazs Franchise Application and
submits to Häagen-Dazs along with third-party verification of assets.
Upon positive determination of application and financial qualifications:
3. Franchisee Interview -
Applicant will be invited to an interview at Häagen-Dazs
headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
After a positive interview:
4. Development Agreement -
Häagen-Dazs issues a development agreement relating to
a specific site or a general area of interest.
5. Site Review -
After identifying and analyzing a shop site, prospective Häagen-Dazs
franchisee seeks consent from Häagen-Dazs for the site. Häagen-Dazs provides forms to
guide franchisee in analyzing the location.
6. Franchise Agreement -
After consenting to the desired location, Häagen-Dazs issues
a site-specific franchise agreement.
7. Construction -
Häagen-Dazs approves the plans. Construction begins.
8. Training -
Franchisee successfully completes the 12-day Häagen-Dazs University class
held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
